 This year let’s reclaim mardi gras for our city of new orleans…together and out of respect for our tradition. My book IN PURSUIT OF PAT O’BRIEN will be coming out over the holiday. It’s a long overdue tribute to the legendary Pat O’Brien, creator of the Hurricane cocktail, godfather of the French Quarter. Mr.Pat is the quintessential Louisiana legend and had nothing but love to give the city of New Orleans.

 So in the spirit of Pat, …………………………………let’s Mardi Gras……………..and show the world that even thought George Bush didn’t mention Katrina in his state of the union address last week, that we, the people of New Orleans, the grooviest folks you’ll ever meet, are making it without him!
